Mr James Webb is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in the North East of England.

Mr Webb has worked as a consultant, in both the NHS and private sectors since 2011. Prior to this he trained at Newcastle medical school and worked as a junior doctor in the North East of England.

Specialising in complex and revision (redo) hip replacements and knee replacements, Mr Webb is also a pioneer of Robotic Assisted Surgery in the North East of England.

Mr Webb is excited to be introducing Robotic Assisted Surgery in the North East of England. Robot Assisted Surgery aims to improve the accuracy and reliability of joint replacement, aiming to position the new artificial implants in the optimal position every time.
